APC SUPPORT GROUPS RALLY ROUND PAUL CHUKWUMA

The members of the APC Support Groups family have thrown their weight behind a Frontline pillar of the All Progressives Congress in Anambra State, Sir Paul Chukwuma in the build up to the race for the Anambra State governorship election.
The Convener of the Amalgamated APC Support Groups Think Tank and leader of the Progressive Support Groups Forum, Dr. AK Peters made this declaration in Abuja on the heels of the fake news of the purported arrest and detaintion of Sir Paul Chukwuma by the Independent Corrupt Practices and related offences Commission ICPC.
In a release signed by Dr. AK Peters and Ustaz Bashir Yahaya, the Secretary of the Think Tank on Friday, the APC Support Groups Leaders condemned the fear and sheer desperation of failed and expired politicians who see Paul Chukwuma as a major threat to their political future.
The release reads in parts, ” Anambra State needs to be rescued from the clutches of bad governance and misrule of APGA and Sir Paul Chukwuma is right man for the job”.

Peters further stated that Paul Chukwuma is a grassroot man, a loyal party man, a motivator of the youths, a philanthropist, mobilizer, and a good Christian who has the fear of God and built the structure of the APC in Anambra State.
He emphasized that those who have suddenly realized that they have failed the people in the past are resorting to campaign of calumny and spreading fake news to smear the good name and character of the APC hopeful for the Anambra State governorship election.

The APC Support Groups have decided to drum support for only true party members like Sir Paul Chukwuma, the Statement said.

He called on all party members to work for him as he is the only person that has all it takes to defeat APGA and enthrone APC in the state.

Peter Obi Dismisses Claims of Accepting 2027 Vice Presidential Role

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, has refuted claims that he agreed to become a vice-presidential candidate in the 2027 elections. The former Anambra State Governor addressed the issue via a series of posts on his official X account on Saturday, accusing certain groups of misinterpreting his recent interview.

Obi emphasized that his remarks during the News Central TV interview had been deliberately distorted by propagandists, and he reiterated his unwavering commitment to the Labour Party and Nigeria’s progress.

Clarifying his stance, Obi stated, “I am not focused on 2027 when Nigerians are grappling with hunger, poverty, insecurity, and other urgent challenges.” He noted that he is open to partnerships, but only with individuals whose intentions align with advancing the country, not capturing state power.

Obi further stressed that his priority is to address pressing national issues, including bringing millions of out-of-school children back into classrooms and combating poverty. He categorically denied any agreement to serve as a vice president, saying, “For the avoidance of doubt, I never stated at any time that I would be vice president to anyone.”

Despite the rumors, Obi reaffirmed his dedication to Nigeria’s development, insisting that true progress can be achieved without necessarily holding political office.
