NATIONAL COALITION OF ALL APC SUPPORT GROUPS HOLDS GET- TOGETHER MEETING IN ABUJA

Following the successful completion of the 2023 general elections, the women wing of the National coalition of all APC supports groups converged in abuja to celebrates the outcome of the elections and to deliberate on the forthcoming inauguration of the president elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. the event which was held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, had the presence of noble women across the country .

While speaking with a team of journalists at the venue of the event, the Director General, Women Empowerment and mobilization of the coalition group, Ambassador Mrs Mosirajiwa, noted that the gathering was to further reaffirm support for the president- elect and to also press home their demands about the promises made by the president elect during the electioneering campaign period.

She said: “The president elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu promised that women will make up 40% of his government. this is a payback time as the elections had been concluded . We have market women that need Empowerment and vocational training.

“We will forward our proposal to the president elect after the inauguration comes May 29, 2023.

Mrs Mosirajiwa further said that the gathering was also to plan how the women across the country would be mobilize for the forthcoming coming inauguration of president elect, Bola Tinubu.

Also speaking during the interaction of members at the event, Mrs Fola Akpata, harps on the important of this kind of meeting, noting that members should always endeavour to mobilize themselves to an event of this kind.

Also reacting, the DG of the coalition groups, Amb. Prince Akintola, noted that it was time to make the women smile, adding that the women did everything possible to ensured the victory of the president elect, Bola Tinubu ..he urged the women not to loose hope.

Yobe Govt Donates N100m to Support Borno Flood Victims

Yobe State Governor, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, has extended a N100 million donation to the Borno State Government to aid victims of the recent Maiduguri floods. The announcement was made during a sympathy visit to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum in Maiduguri on Saturday.

In addition to the state donation, Governor Buni also pledged a personal contribution of food items worth N50 million to assist those affected by the floods. He described the humanitarian crisis as devastating and urged everyone to come forward with support.

“Yobe and Borno states are like twins, sharing similar hardships. We must stand by each other in times of need,” Buni stated.

The Yobe Governor also expressed condolences for those who lost their lives in the disaster and wished a quick recovery for the injured.

Governor Zulum expressed gratitude to Governor Buni and the people of Yobe State for their generosity and solidarity. He highlighted the strong bond between the two states, noting that Buni’s administration has further strengthened the unity between Borno and Yobe.

“The people of Yobe and Borno are one family, and this support reinforces that connection. We deeply appreciate the gesture,” Zulum said.
